Shadows and Mirrors Released
New Poetry Book Out Now
I am happy to announce the release of my poetry book. Shadows and Mirrors: A Dark Poetry Collection is now available.
Release Week
Let me start off by saying I had a hell of a release week. I’m dealing with what I believe/hope is plantar fasciitis, so I’m limping around the house. The pain got so bad the other day, I had to crawl up the basement steps. Even my dog was looking at me funny.
Thursday, a migraine hit. I had plans to do a lot of promotion on that day. Instead, I was curled up in bed, popping Sumatriptan. I managed to pull it together enough to get everything released Friday and then went back to bed.
Not the glamorous release week everyone expects, but I got it done.
Shadows and Mirrors
Shadows linger all around us, but the one we refuse to acknowledge is the one looking in the mirror. What does your reflection say about you?
Shadows and Mirrors explores the darker aspects of the self. Life, death, love, hate, pain, and healing collide in this dark poetry collection from Rena Aliston.
Shadows and Mirrors: A Dark Poetry Collection is now available in paperback and eBook.
If interested, you can purchase the book through Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Kobo.
What’s Next?
There’s no such thing as rest for writers. I’m currently waiting on a proof of my next poetry book, which I’m hoping to release in November. I’m in the process of completing a new poetry book, which will be released next Spring.
I’m also venturing more into stories. There’s a book of drabble in the works. I’ve finished writing the stories but still have to figure out how I want to set everything up. I’m currently working on a new short story and a novella series.
