Your canvas bled for no other reason than to confuse my pain. Dry eyes sought condonation, but your serpent tongue told tales of trysts and iniquitous rendezvous.

I forgave you. Clenched my jaw, holding captive my fury. It was only a matter of time before the time capsule burst open.

My rage spilled over you like a work of art. White knuckles painted you black and blue. Now broken, only a semblance of your pride remained. But your eyes, those haunting hazel eyes, mocked me. A laugh escaped as you pulled out a gun. One shot rang through the air.
